Mutual Aid to Charles County – Box 2010

At 6:24 AM, your Huntingtown Volunteers responded to assist on a working house fire in the 9600 block of Brunswick Road, Charles County. Engine 62 (Lt. Wilson) staged upon arrival, while Tanker 6 (C. Cox) supported water supply operations as part of a shuttle. Crews from Charles, Calvert, St. Mary’s, Prince George’s (MD), and King George and Dahlgren (VA) were on scene. Working House Fire in the 2-18 Box

Today at 1333 hours, your Huntingtown Volunteers were alerted to the 100 block of Buckler Road for the reported house on fire. Initial units arrived to find fire and smoke showing from the residence. Engine 62 (Capt. Wallace) arrived on scene and advanced a hose line through side Alpha to assist with extinguishment. Squad 6 (SO6, M. Montgomery Sr.) assisted Squad 2 with opening up the residence. Jenkins and Rescue Chief Eversole led an interactive classroom session before diving into hands-on roleplay in the apparatus.
