On Friday, May 19th, Huntingtown personnel attended the Calvert County Volunteer Fire Rescue and EMS Association awards banquet hosted by Solomons VRSFD. The association proudly inducted Milton Myers into the Calvert County Hall of Fame and recognized Michael Wells for fifty years of dedicated service. Cadet Travis Winston was awarded Junior Cadet of The Year for the Calvert Career and Technology Fire and EMS Program. Huntingtown was also awarded the J.W. Freesland Award which is given to the most notable incident in Calvert County. This award was for the officer involved shooting that occurred in December. The officer is now back at work and joined the award ceremony via FaceTime!
