Today at 1333 hours, your Huntingtown Volunteers were alerted to the 100 block of Buckler Road for the reported house on fire. Initial units arrived to find fire and smoke showing from the residence. Engine 62 (Capt. Wallace) arrived on scene and advanced a hose line through side Alpha to assist with extinguishment. Squad 6 (SO6, M. Montgomery Sr.) assisted Squad 2 with opening up the residence. Chief 6A (T. Clark) was assigned safety operations. Chief 6B (B. Thrasher) was assigned roof operations. Crews operated for approximately two hours before returning to service.
