At 1311 hours, the Huntingtown Volunteers, and surrounding departments responded to the 2300 block of Stella Drive for the house fire.
First-Due House Fire for HVFD Volunteers
At 08:45 today, Huntingtown and other nearby stations were called to a basement fire in the 1100 block of Claggett Rd. Chief 5 (T. Sealey) was first to arrive, reporting visible flames from the basement.
HVFD Members Work a Brush Fire
On Wednesday the 20th at 18:44, the Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported brush fire in the 2300 block of Pots Point Road. Upon arrival, crews encountered a 500-foot stretch of woodland ablaze.
Crews Respond To Tractor Trailer Accident
At 18:39 on February 29, 2024, emergency services were dispatched to a reported serious auto accident involving a tractor trailer under Rescue Box 611. Initial reports indicated that the tractor trailer had overturned onto a car in the 2200 block of Lower Marlboro Rd. However, while en route, it was communicated that the tractor’s driver was attempting to exit the vehicle by himself.
