At 1549 hours, units were alerted to 15 Southview Drive (Box Area 2-18) for the garage on fire.
Engine 21 (Prince Frederick VFD) arrived to find fire showing from a single story, single family dwelling.
Engine 61, Tanker 6, Chief 6, Chief 6A, Safety 6, and Captain 6 responded with 11 personnel. Engine 61 arrived and advanced a line to the first floor to assist with fire attack. Tanker 6 arrived, and set up water supply.
Chief 6 held the Southview Drive Command, Chief 6A was assigned Interior. Units from Company 6 operated for several hours. A special thanks to the Huntingtown VFD Ladies Auxiliary for providing refreshments during this incident.
