On 10/21, at 1728 hrs units from Huntingtown were dispatched to Route 4 and Sun Park Lane for a motor vehicle accident. While enroute the call was upgraded to a Serious auto accident with one reported trapped.
Chief 6 arrived on the scene and assumed command Ambulance 69 began patient care while Squad 6 removed the driver side of the vehicle and lifted the dash to extricate the driver from the vehicle.
Ambulance 69 along with the Medic from CALS continued patient care and transferred the patient to MSP Trooper 2 for transport to the Trauma Center.
